SDM-VALORUM ENABLES BLUE1 TO ACHIEVE GROWTH AMBITIONS VIA SMART DEAL.

The manufacturer of AdBlue pump devices Blue1 was founded in 2006 by Vincent Delmez, Vincent Vermeeren and Marc Verhaegen. While first focusing on the Benelux market, expansion to the European market quickly follows, in 2007, combined with setting up their own production facility.

The entrepreneurs continue their growth and add telemetry to their product range in 2010. Today, under the leadership of Delmez and Vermeeren, the company is supplying about 450 installations a year, with a turnover of 4 million euros.

The ambitions of both gentlemen stretch further, and the Eastern European and North African market also beckon. To realize these growth plans, private capital was attracted via a Smart Deal transaction. With the support of SDM-VALORUM, the third partner was bought out and the management team was able to join the new umbrella company Peyo.

Delmez and Vermeeren continue to manage their business as before and can guarantee sustainable further growth through this transaction.
